*Dog Friendly*Pac Man & More*Hot Tub*Fire Pits
Imagine pulling into the gravel driveway after a long drive, the smell of mountain pines hitting you before you even open the car door. The dogs are already pawing at the windows. The kids spotted the loft through the glass. And somewhere between the hot tub on the gated deck and the crackling gas fireplace inside, everyone in your group stops thinking about the drive and starts thinking about dinner. That's what Hook's Hideaway does.
Good to know
This is a 4-bedroom mountain cabin that was designed to be lived in — not just slept in. The main level opens into a gourmet kitchen with a gas stove, double oven, bar seating for four, and a dining table for four more. It's genuinely well-stocked, not the "starter kit" version of well-stocked. The living room has a huge flat-screen TV, a gas fireplace, and seating that actually fits a group. Step out the back and you're on a gated deck with a hot tub, a gas grill, an outdoor dining setup for 6+, and a gas fire pit that gets used every single night. Downstairs is the crown jewel: a massive king suite with a log bed, its own gas fireplace, a mini fridge, a Keurig, a renovated en-suite bathroom, a queen sized sleeper sofa, a desk, a laundry room, and its own private deck with a fire pit. If one person in your group calls dibs on this room, don't say we didn't warn you. The loft is where the kids disappear. Pac-Man arcade, foosball, games and toys, and their own TV. We've had parents tell us they didn't see their kids for two full days. — THE OUTDOOR SETUP — The main deck is gated, so kids and dogs stay where you can see them. The lower suite has its own private deck, also gated, plus a small dedicated dog run. We provide dog bowls, balls, and blankets. There is a flat $150 pet fee for up to 4 dogs — they're welcome here, and the setup shows it. We kindly ask that the pups be crated while their humans are out exploring. The driveway is U-shaped with room for 4+ vehicles and a 240V 50-AMP EV outlet if you're rolling electric. Easy access. — FOR FAMILIES — We've thought about the details. Pack-N-Play, sound machine, baby monitor, baby gate, high chair, kids' plates, bibs — it's all here. The decks are gated so toddlers can safely be outside with you. The older kids have their space up in the Loft and the gourmet kitchen means you can actually cook real meals instead of living on fast food. — WHO IT'S FOR — Families with young kids who want a fully-stocked, safety-conscious space. Pet owners who are tired of sneaking dogs in. Multi-generational groups where Grandma needs a quiet bedroom and the teenagers need their own world. Friend groups who will argue over the king suite and end up all in the hot tub anyway.
